Ningxia

Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, abbreviated as Ning, with its capital Yinchuan, is located in northwest China, in the upper and middle reaches of the Yellow River. It covers an area of approximately 66,400 square kilometers and has a population of about 7.25 million (2023). Ningxia is one of China's five ethnic minority autonomous regions, with Hui culture as its core characteristic, and is known as the "Oasis on the Frontier."
